April 28th, 2018- Exotics Racing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
The dynamic duo had the perfect amount of skill and dedication to pull of a first-place podium finish in the EXR 300, 4-Hour Endurance race! Michael Halverson and David Perisset, amazing teammates both on and off the track.
Second race of the season, 7 cars with a total of 15 drivers, 2 hours of daylight and 2 hours of night.

Starting off the first stint Romain Thievin quickly made his way from third place to the leading position, Teo Koch following closely behind. Meanwhile Ashley Freiberg impressively making her way from 6th place to the front of the pack. Ashley and David Perisset made a clean pass by Teo Koch to battle it out for second. Adrenaline running high as we watch the fight between Ashley and David, in turn 2 David tries to pass, Ashley blocks and there is small contact between the two cars. Just barely saving himself from the contact, Teo Koch was able to quickly move out of the way and redeem his second-place position. David and Ashley still going head to head, David spins and briefly goes off course. Mike Dardin driving hard to get to the front of the pack spins in both turn 1 and turn 5 although gains a couple places. Carlos Herrera maintaining his position but with five minutes left to go spins in turn 8 and is now in 6th. Now with the second group of drivers we can expect to see some position changes. In the start of the second stint, Dan Saltsburg overtook Kris Jensen for the first-place position. Jensen spun out exiting turn 4 allowing JJ Bell to take the second position. Bell then spinning out in turn 1 giving Justin Price the ability to overtake. The #11 car Martin, Carlos and Christian from Panama making their way up passing Randy Russell putting Russell and Freiberg in the last position. With five minutes to go Dan Saltsburg almost spins on turn 8 resulting in Michael Halverson now leading the race.
Starting off stint 3:

-Koch / Saltsburg
-Thievin / Jensen
-Dardin / Price
-Vajda / Bell
-Sosa / Schreiber / Herrera
-Freiberg / Russell
The track is now cooler, providing more grip so no spins and more control from the drivers this stint. Dardin and Vajda are battling it out for the fourth position while Sosa and Jensen are fighting for fifth. With two minutes left in his stint, Sosa overtakes Jensen for the fifth position.
Going into the fifth stint, Ashley has made her way up from the last position right behind Teo Koch in second, Teo overtaking and keeping his lead. Perisset failing to put within the five-minute window results in a 15 second penalty.

Bell and Price fighting for fourth place while Jensen and Dan Saltsburg are battling for second place. Dan overtakes securing the second-place position. With Mike Halverson and David Perisset in first place and Romain Thievin and Kris Jensen also on podium for third place.
